Rolled shapes and HSS use nominal weights from the AISC Shapes Database v15.0. Canadian (CISC) metric names are sometimes rounded, so W310x38.7 here is W310x39 on a Canadian mill list. Mechanical tube and plate are calculated from their dimensions.
